Just Bronzed® Airbrush Studios offers Arizona’s most UNIQUE experience in airbrush tanning using extremely selective top-tier airbrush tanning solutions with only the highest quality ingredients that we believe are best in the industry. Artists are trained at a Master Sunless Artist level, with the Owner, Amber, also maintaining certification with the NSTPA. WHAT IS AN AIRBRUSH TAN?
Airbrush tans may not involve lounging in the sun, but they’re also not just a quick coat of color. There’s real science behind how they work—and it’s more fascinating than you might think. There are two main ways to get that sun-kissed glow without any UV exposure: Bronzers (Instant/Temporary) and Self-Tanners (DHA/Long-Lasting).
Bronzers are cosmetic colorants—like makeup for your body—that provide an immediate, visible “sun-kissed” look. (Think tinted lotions or powders that temporarily darken the skin but wash off easily with soap and water).
Self-tanners, on the other hand, go deeper—literally. These come in lotions, mousses or sunless solutions and use an active ingredient called DHA (short for dihydroxyacetone). A working mother of six, Amber holds an MBA, BSW, and is a Certified Sunless Airbrush Tanning Specialist. She leads with grit, grace, and golden standards in everything she does.
Looking back to 2020, Amber realized she had experienced burnout. Five years later she had still not fully recovered, and after a long and successful career in social services, she felt depleted, disconnected from her sense of purpose, and was missing out on the precious, everyday moments with her children due to the restraints of business hours and commute commitments. She had lost her spark and began craving something more—a path that aligned with both her personal evolution and professional passions and gave her the time with her family she desperately craved.
Like many women, her skincare journey also shifted in her late 30s, when she began noticing a loss of radiance, firmness, and the early signs of aging. Looking back, she often reflects on wishing she had understood the importance of skincare and sun protection much earlier in life. That awakening—both personal and professional—became the catalyst for change. What started as a search for deeper meaning evolved into a bold new chapter: turning passion into purpose and offering others a smarter, safer, and more luxurious way to glow.
